About your trip

Late summer offshore diving off Wilmington, NC means warm water, active sharks, and some of the best wreck conditions of the season. This two-day trip combines Megalodon shark tooth hunting with two classic artificial reef wrecks — big steel, great structure, and excellent marine life.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to get offshore, this is it.

This is not a sightseeing drift dive. This is for divers who like their stories heavy, their finds black and enamel-thick, and their dives planned properly.

*If you don't have your AOW or Nitrox certifications don't worry, DWF has you covered. But we should get you taken care of sooner rather than later?

Requirements

  • Advanced Open Water certification required

  • Enriched Air Nitrox certification required

  • SMB / safety sausage required

  • Wreck reel required

  • Comfortable with depths approaching 100 ft

  • Comfortable with task loading (searching, navigation, buoyancy, situational awareness)

If any of this gives you pause, reach out before booking. These are not beginner dives.
